Can you help?

Hi!

We’re really close to launching our online store!

This journey started eleven months ago with a bottle of chardonnay and what we like to think was a dare to ourselves: How can we make 2015 different?

We decided to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and create a business (it might have been easier if we had just had one less glass!)

We think we’ve come up with a product that is simple, useful and perfect for anyone concerned about the environment.

However, we need your help as we finalize our launch. Please take a minute to answer the following two questions in the comments below:

  1. Do you use reusable bags when you shop?
  2. If you do, what bags do you usually reach for? If you don’t use reusable bags, why not?

Thank you so much!

Cheers,

PS- If you haven't already, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter before we launch to enter a drawing for a free Jack+Jules!

  • I have them in my car and forget to bring them in the store with me! However, since recently visiting my Daughter, Jacque in San Francisco, CA has gotten me in the habit of never forgetting to bring them with me because in CA they charge you for paper bags (they do not have plastic bags). Maybe if everyone started charging for bags we would remember to bring our reusable bags. The problem with the bags I have is that they are so big and the material is hard to fold up and always have in my purse. Looking forward to my first J & J bag! Smart thinking!

  • Hello….no, I seldom use reusable bags. Quite simply, I’m forgetful! Although I detest all the plastic bags from the grocery that I then have to cart home. They can’t be recycled here, so they then wind up back in the garbage. ( I know, not good for anyone!)

If I were to use them I would need them to be strong and easily collapsible.

  • 1. No I usually don’t. I do use the supermarket plastic bags as rubbish bin liners but never use as many as I collect. A resolution to start using the J+J bags I have brought from now on…..
    2. If I have ever used a reusable bag it has been from a supermarket and usually a sturdy square bottom type. However I reckon the J+J’s are going to be brilliant. ?

  • I use reusable bags very often and like the ones that stand up on their own so easy to pack. Your photos don’t show the bags and I think this would help to sell them. maybe I’ve missed a photo but good luck.

  • No, I don’t use reusable bags because I never think about bringing them. If I did I would want them to big enough to hold a lot of groceries because a bunch of small bags are kind of annoying.
