Can you help?

Hi!

We’re really close to launching our online store!

This journey started eleven months ago with a bottle of chardonnay and what we like to think was a dare to ourselves: How can we make 2015 different?

We decided to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and create a business (it might have been easier if we had just had one less glass!)

We think we’ve come up with a product that is simple, useful and perfect for anyone concerned about the environment.

However, we need your help as we finalize our launch. Please take a minute to answer the following two questions in the comments below:

  1. Do you use reusable bags when you shop?
  2. If you do, what bags do you usually reach for? If you don’t use reusable bags, why not?

Thank you so much!

Cheers,

PS- If you haven't already, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter before we launch to enter a drawing for a free Jack+Jules!

  • Hi- I have reusable bags but rarely remember to take them to the supermarket. The ones I have a very bulky so would prefer bags that can be folded into a smaller size and that can be kept in the car.

  • I don’t use reusable bags as I never remember to bring them. I don’t usually plan ahead of time to go to the store, but rather just go on the way home from work if my wife sends me a list.

  • 1. I use the reusable bags most of the time. Sometimes when I forget them at home or run a quick unexpected errand, I do not :(
    2. For my big shopping trips I reach for the collapsable box/bags that stand up on thier own. They are strong and hold many things(including milk in the glass bottles!). However, I often wish I had a smaller bag that I could carry in my purse for those times mentioned above.

  • I have about 10 reuseable bags that go through a rotation so I always DO have at least 2-4 bags in my car. It’s helpful because you never know what I need to bring in and out of my car. Most of the bags I have are “giveaway” bags that I’ve gotten from races, work, etc and are the basic box shape with the fabric-y type texture. I did recently purchase though some bags on sale from Cost Plus World Market that have a coating on them, which makes them easy to wipe off and clean. Perfect for a grocery spill.

  • I always use reusable bags when grocery shopping. I have 4 from “Mixed Bags” which was an OLW fundraiser a few years ago. They are roomy, sturdy and the packers at the store always comment on how nice they are. They were a little pricey, but worth the investment to me.
    Good luck!
