Can you help?

Hi!

We’re really close to launching our online store!

This journey started eleven months ago with a bottle of chardonnay and what we like to think was a dare to ourselves: How can we make 2015 different?

We decided to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and create a business (it might have been easier if we had just had one less glass!)

We think we’ve come up with a product that is simple, useful and perfect for anyone concerned about the environment.

However, we need your help as we finalize our launch. Please take a minute to answer the following two questions in the comments below:

  1. Do you use reusable bags when you shop?
  2. If you do, what bags do you usually reach for? If you don’t use reusable bags, why not?

Thank you so much!

Cheers,

PS- If you haven't already, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter before we launch to enter a drawing for a free Jack+Jules!

  • I try to use reusable bags but like others who have responded, I too often forget to put them back into my trunk and end up with the plastics and a fair share of environmental guilt. When I do remember, however, my favorites are those that zip up into tiny pouches that can be easily tossed into my car – or better yet, my purse.

  • First, congrats on your new business, and I wish you great success! Sehr gut, Frauleins!! Secondly, yes, I do use reusable bags, though only about 50% of the time. When I do, I like bags that are easy to throw in my purse and/or bags that are lined to keep food cold. When I don’t it’s because I’ve either forgotten or because I ask for paper bags that I then use to collect my recycling in at home. Hopefully this feedback is useful to you! Best wishes, Tasha

  • I use reusable bags as often as I remember to bring them in with me! Like Jill, I have been to San Fran and DC where they both charge for bags and that would make a big difference!

  • Hi Julie, yes I try to remember to bring reusable bags to the stores, but I do forget. I haven’t seen your bags yet but I like sturdier ones (cloth or plastic). You likely have heard that city of Chicago recently banned the use of lightweight plastic bags. It hasn’t hit the suburbs yet, but sure just a matter of time. Good Luck ladies :)

  • I use reusable bags every time I shop! However the ones I use are a random collection and I’m always lugging around a large, bulky bag that isn’t easy to transport and takes up a lot of space!
