Can you help?

Hi!

We’re really close to launching our online store!

This journey started eleven months ago with a bottle of chardonnay and what we like to think was a dare to ourselves: How can we make 2015 different?

We decided to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and create a business (it might have been easier if we had just had one less glass!)

We think we’ve come up with a product that is simple, useful and perfect for anyone concerned about the environment.

However, we need your help as we finalize our launch. Please take a minute to answer the following two questions in the comments below:

  1. Do you use reusable bags when you shop?
  2. If you do, what bags do you usually reach for? If you don’t use reusable bags, why not?

Thank you so much!

Cheers,

PS- If you haven't already, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter before we launch to enter a drawing for a free Jack+Jules!

  • Hi Jules, congrats on this exciting initiative!! I only use reusable bags at Aldi because they charge me for buying bags! Guess I’m more motivated by the bottom
Line than the environment if I’m totally honest! Ouch! I could do some growing in this area…Fi

  • Congratulations, Julie, on the launch of your company. Very excited for you and your partner and wish you a great success.
Regarding the questions, we do not use reusable bags at this point. We shop mostly at Whole Foods and use their paper recycle bags. Sometimes we bring them back and return to the store, as part of its “save environment” initiative.

  • Hi, I don’t use reusable bags because I’m not organised enough and I forget….! Once I have accumulated lots of plastic bags I usually take them back to Coles and put them in the recycle bins they have at the front. In saying this, I would like to use reusable bags- I just need to get into the habit!

  • I use a mixture of reusable bags and store plastic ones. I have to remember to take my reusable ones with me and then also take enough in! I have found that the reusable ones look a bit “shabby” after awhile.

  • Hi Jackie,
Well I love the name and logo print soo cool. When r u printing the T- shirts with the words in coloured block and different print(maybe green / pink)?

I actually use a water hyacinth basket that I bought from the old eco friendly store near the BP service station on the corner of South Rd & Hampton street. It is no longer there, but the basket is brilliant as it won’t tip all my groceries out when I turn a corner in the car. I love it and wish you all the best with your launch. I couldn’t get there last week at a school function for Xavier. Let me know your launch date, I will send via text a photo of my beautiful basket. Xx Trina
