Can you help?

Hi!

We’re really close to launching our online store!

This journey started eleven months ago with a bottle of chardonnay and what we like to think was a dare to ourselves: How can we make 2015 different?

We decided to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and create a business (it might have been easier if we had just had one less glass!)

We think we’ve come up with a product that is simple, useful and perfect for anyone concerned about the environment.

However, we need your help as we finalize our launch. Please take a minute to answer the following two questions in the comments below:

  1. Do you use reusable bags when you shop?
  2. If you do, what bags do you usually reach for? If you don’t use reusable bags, why not?

Thank you so much!

Cheers,

PS- If you haven't already, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter before we launch to enter a drawing for a free Jack+Jules!

  • I used to use reusable bags all the time and just leave them in the car, but not so much anymore. The ones I used were the green coles ones, but they are quite big and annoying and I keep forgetting to put them in the car. It is something I want to do purely to save on using so many plastic bags. Something I could keep in the glove box at the front of the car would make more sense, as often I would put the big coles bags in the boot and then forget to take them into the supermarket. Amanda.

  • I don’t use reusable bags as much as I should, though the ones I reach for tend to be from charity events. That said, I wouldn’t mind paying for something a little sturdier and more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Especially with Chicago winters, it’d be great to throw in more color and interesting patterns as well. Loving the bold colors that you’ve chosen so far, and looking forward to what’s up ahead!

  • I have received many from grocery stores – and use them when I remember to bring them in with me :) The ones that work the best have the square like bottom, or are made from a heavy nylon material – they can be packed full. The canvas or material bags have ripped and worn easily over time. Good luck with your new venture! Can’t wait to see the products!

  • I try to use re-useable bags, but the problem is they are so big and bulky! So heading to the supermarket straight from work I end up getting horrible plastic!
But now my Jack&jules bags fit in my handbag – and easy to carry on my walk home.
    Great work Girls x

  • We use a trolley for shopping and don’t use reusable bags at present
If we go to Aldi without the trolley we use their bags & keep in the car in case we need them.
    I think the J & J reusable bags are a good idea..
